Garth Madison provides business counsel, litigation, and appellate services across the Chicago area. His twenty years of practice have focused on civil litigation, employment matters, professional and ethical duties, and compliance with government regulation.

Mr. Madison has briefed and argued cases before the the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the Illinois Appellate Courts for the First, Third, and Fourth Districts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has tried cases in state and federal court, and before such administrative bodies as the Illinois Human Rights Commission. His strategic appellate perspective strengthens his litigation and motions practice. Most of his cases involve electronic discovery issues.

Mr. Madison has represented a variety of private individuals, corporations, and governmental entities. He has served as general counsel in-house, and directly managed hundreds of staff. He brings both private- and public-sector perspectives on government regulation, and understands first hand the practical issues faced by managers and businesses.
